EnviroLys Awards gearing up to join CWRE. Canadian Waste Sector Symposium line-up

The 16th edition of the Canadian Waste & Recycling Expo will return to the Palais des Congrès in Montreal this November with a week of industry focused activities. In cooperation with CWRE, the Ontario Waste Management Association, Compost Council of Canada, Reseau Environnement and the Council of Environmental Services Industry will be hosting several events throughout the week of November 18 - 21. Anticipating another extraordinary event, CWRE has more than 70% of the show floor sold. Exhibiting companies from across Canada and United States have already reserved their space.

The 2013 Canadian Waste Sector Symposium (CWSS) serves as a forum for the discussion of waste sector policy and technology. Addressing the ever-growing issue of waste management, collection and recycling, the Canadian Waste Sector Symposium will bring in industry experts as they focus on these issues and many more. The waste sector facility tours, produced by CWSS, held in conjunction with CWRE, will also return to Montréal. For the most updated information on these events, please visit www.canwastesectorsymposium.ca.

In addition to the exhibits and symposium sessions, various networking opportunities will also be held during the event. The Compost Council of Canada will host their annual general meeting and luncheon on Wednesday, November 20. Led by the lead team of Environment Canada’s Technical Document on Municipal Solid Waste Organics Processing, Scott Gamble & Tom Kraemer, CH2M Hill, a discussion on the "Technical Advancements & Municipal Solid Waste Organics Processing" will be the highlight.

Another networking opportunity joining CWRE will be the EnviroLys Awards, produced by the Council of Environmental Services Industry. EnviroLys is a unique opportunity to recognize the entrepreneurship and innovation of the builders of the environmental services industry. The winners will be announced at a gala evening on November 18 at the Hyatt. This edition will highlight the 10th anniversary of the Quebec Council of Environmental Services Industry.
